IT'S PEOPLE WE LIKE OR KNOW!
I have posted links to the websites of people we know or have worked with in the past, people we just think are awesome and want to support, and of our improvisational brothers-in-arms. If you think you belong on this list just email us, facebook us, or drop us a line in our forums and let us know what your deal is and give us any appropriate links. We will judge each entry with equal levels of disdain, and critique it harshly for spelling, grammar, punctuation and inappropriate use of waterfowl. Ultimately we will likely add your link to the list below. Otherwise we'd have to admit this page was pointless, and that would probably make Shawn cry.

MISS LA MUSEA couple of years ago Shawn and Luke did a number of live radio plays at Aqua Books, and one of our sessions was costarring Winnipeg's Burlesque Queen, the lovely and talented Miss La Muse. One of these plays was "The Maltese Falcon," which Miss La Muse posted on YouTube and you can now view in our section entitled "The Fun!" It was an absolute riot, and Miss La Muse is a joy to work with. I will let her talent and her website speak for themselves.

IMPROVISION .Our friends and mentors for more years than any of us cares to admit. Shawn and Luke have done improv, murder mysteries, fundraisers, birthday parties, radio spots, and general tomfoolery with George and Alan on probably hundreds of occasions.
Improvision has been a Fringe Festival sensation for over a decade, and their slapstick style of humor is what inspired us to be so cruel and degrading to each other. |
THE CROSSEYED RASCALSMany years ago, back in the Olde country, a bunch of kids had a crazy idea. "Hey Toby," they said to their dog Scruffles to belittle him, "I'm going to start an improv group that entertains people WITHOUT swearing, abusing our audience or making fun of minorities!" And somehow to this day, that strange idea stuck. Despite over 600 changes in lineup over the years (in fact we have no idea if that's a picture of the current cast or just Mitch and a bunch of cats) the Crosseyed Rascals are now one of Winnipeg's longest standing and most successful improv groups. In fact we've just now decided that they've performed to audiences in 12 different countries in over 1 language! We've done a few shows with them, and managed to sway them over to the dark side whenever we do. If you think the Horrible Friends are dicks, then the Crosseyed Rascals are the improv group for you!
